This is a lovely message that Bill Pierce left for us especially!!! It is lovingly handwritten on a luscious cherry-red box bottom with the following note:

"NOTICE! Because of a planned demonstration toay from about 12 to 1, we are asking that anyone with business with NCFA call for an appointment in advance of entering the premises. Then come up and ring bell, identify yourself and you will be given entry. ALL OTHERS TODAY ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED: NO TRESSPASSING. Bill Pierce ".

From a Rally Diary:
" The building is located in a residential area, and there was not any marching room, so we stood in a semi-circle, facing the building. On the front gate leading to the townhouse was the top of a cardboard xerox paper box.. On the box was a hand-written message ..signed "Bill Pierce." The shades in the building were drawn, (they hadn't been earlier in the day) so we pictured him cowering inside. We got pictures and video footage of it. We chanted, we cheered for open records and Marley gave a wonderful speech. Major Bastard Nation Moment. "
