ADOPT AN OSCAR … Cambria resident Michelle Hilbe will be at the forefront of a black-tie rally at Monday's Academy Awards Show in Los Angeles. She'll be there with other adoptees who want publicity for their causeof unsealing birth records so adoptees can learn about their birth parents. Hilbe is the public information officer for an adoptees' advocates group named Bastard Nation, which maintains that other countries release records to adult adoptees, but only two U.S. states allow such an action. They'll be at the Shrine Auditorium because adoption records are part of the story of nominated film "Secrets and Lies," Hilbe said, along with other recent films and television shows.
