Action Alert!December 15, 2003 Urge Nevada State Legislature to move on SB 267Help insure Nevada Legislature's Children Youth & Families Committee will take up the issue of adoptee access to their own records.On Tuesday, December 16th, 2003 Nevada Open and Coalition Partners will come
before the Nevada State Legislature's Interim Standing Committee on Children,
Youth and Families. During the public testimony portion, we will request the
committee to take up our issue of adult adoptee unrestricted access to their own
birth and adoption records, as put forward in the 2003 Session in Senate Bill
267. Please PHONE, FAX, and E-MAIL the members of the Children, Youth and Families
Committee.

- Urge them to take up for study the issue of
adult adoptee access to their own birth and adoption records,
as put forward in SB 267 in the 2003 Session.
- Inform them that SB 267 was unanimously referred to them
by the Senate Committee on the Judiciary.
- Remind them that SB 267 was among the top fifty bills (ranking 31)
for public opinion response in the 2003 session.
